About the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal initiative aimed at making dental care accessible for eligible families and individuals across Canada. Whether you need a routine check-up, a dental cleaning, or more advanced treatments, the CDCP can help cover a portion or all of your dental expenses, depending on your situation. The plan is designed to support families with limited access to private dental insurance and helps ensure that cost is not a barrier to essential dental care.

Who is Eligible For The
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) will help pay a portion of the cost for a wide range of oral health care services. You may be eligible for the CDCP if:
- Your household income is below $90,000 annually.
- You or your children do not have access to private dental insurance.
- You meet other specific eligibility criteria outlined by the federal government.
The CDCP provides comprehensive coverage for essential dental services, including cleanings, exams, x-rays, dental fillings, and tooth extractions. This means you can rest assured that your basic dental needs are taken care of, allowing you to focus on maintaining your oral health.
Services and additional treatments requiring approval in advance will be available in November 2024.
