Dr. Parekh
Hi, I’m Dr. Parekh. I grew up in Calgary and attended Sir Winston Churchill High School, which is across the street from Luna Dental! I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Calgary in Biological Sciences. Following graduation from the University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry, I returned home to Calgary.
I have additional training in implant dentistry, Botox, and Invisalign. I am committed to providing my patients with a relaxing, informative, and comfortable experience. As a Kois-trained dentist, I am passionate about staying up to date on the latest scientific research. I take the time to get to know each patient and provide exceptional, personalized care.
When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband, daughter and son. I also enjoy hiking, artwork, boxing, and yoga. I hope to provide great care to you and your family for many years to come!

I was born and raised in a small town called Dalhousie in New Brunswick. I am fluent in both French and English. While I was in high school I joined the infantry reserves and excelled to become the top female and third overall in my bootcamp. I moved to Calgary in 2000 and have been in the dental field for over 20 years. I love what I do and enjoy getting to know our patients. I’ve been working at this office since November 2018 and the atmosphere in the office is fantastic. In my spare time, I love playing sports (softball, skiing, and soccer) and going to the mountains.

Hi, I am Shiho. I am originally from Japan, and I moved to Canada in 2007. I lived in Banff before settling in the Calgary area in 2019. I live here with my husband and our two sons.
I have been working in the dental field since 2002. I trained as a Dental Laboratory Technician, Dental Sterilization Assistant, and now as a Registered Dental Assistant. I’m proud to contribute my diverse background and years of experience to provide exceptional patient care at Luna Dental.
In my spare time, I enjoy doing origami, organizing and decluttering inspired by Marie Kondo, and being a soccer mom!

Hi, I’m Shanice. I was born and raised right here in Calgary. After completing my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary, I was eager to merge my passion for science with a hands-on approach to healthcare. I pursued further education at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, where I received my degree in Dental Hygiene.
